Default question about a 2/4 drop with exhaust goin over axle

Well I'm going to be putting a sts rear mount turbo on my truck, my current exhaust is a flowmaster dual outlet going over the axle and exiting out the back of the truck, I had 2 inch drop shackles put in about a month ago and ever since, when I hit a big bump, the pipes hit the axle, now my question is, if I do a 2/4 drop, will I be able to still run the pipe over the axle or will I have to keep it the height it is for the turbo? Thx

a lot of aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems can handle a 2/4 drop so you should have plenty of room. you will need to have the pipes run a little higher over the axle.

It won't work with a 4/6 I know that. With a 2/4 you shouldn't have a problem. What type of exhaust/tip does the sts kit come with? If it doesn't come with anything just have the exhaust shop tuck it up tight so there is enough axle travel.

I believe its just a pipe coming out the turbine, but the full turbo is going to be assembled after the axle, but I don't know what's gunna happen now, the guy that is selling it to us is going back on his word so I have to see what happens
