I was, at the time there was not enough information out there about the difference in the cam sensor....I think now there is a adapter that can be used...you would be better off with a 6.0 in a truck since it is heavy and needs torque.

Has anyone gotten the reverse lockout solenoid to work when going from auto to T56? If so, how does one go about wiring it up?

reverse lock out just needs power and ground i used a push button and mounted it near the e brake. push and hold to put in reverse

Silverado_SS_04 wired his into the brake light, seems like a simple and effective solution

Until you are on the freeway slowing down to put it into 5th gear and end up grinding reverse at 80 mph...

Ah I was thinking reverse was over and down not over and up.

Will my stock extended cab 2-piece 4L60E driveshaft be the correct length for the f-body T56?

It should be, easiest way to check is measure trans with bell housing and compare to what you have

Not sure about the 2-piece driveshaft but on my 04 RCSB driveshaft I had to shorten the driveshaft 3" from 61" down to 58", to fit the t-56
