Question Need Quality Drop for 05' VHO!!!

Who makes a 2/3 drop for my VHO??? My VHO's suspension has the same specs as a 2WD SS Silverado.
I want the best quality drop only! Money is not the problem or issue.
Keep in mind, my truck does not have front coil springs, it has torsion bars.
I'm ignorant when it comes to lowering vehicles. I do not know much about it.
The talk of control arms/ spindles/ shakles has me a bit confused. What ever is the best way to go, that's what I want.
I've also heard that some lowering kits do not work with Caltracs. I don't want that drop! I will be using Caltracs.
Who has the answer to "ALL" my questions???

Jim

McGaughys makes a kit for your truck...whether or not the rear part is compatible with Caltracs, I don't know. http://www.mcgaughys.com/ Probably have to use the t-bar key kit.

McGaughy's is probably the best money can buy for the VHO. With that kit you will be able to get a 2/4 drop. If you want anymore out of the front you need to use torsion keys. My bro used both torsion keys and spindles to get a 3/4 drop.

Caltracs will work for you application. Make sure you tell them you have a 4" drop with hangeres and shackles.

Here is a pic of my bro's trucks on 22's with a 305/35R22 tire.

Looks nice. Though my truck only has a 1" rake to the rear from the factory.
At least that's what TXsilverado and I measured the other day. So a drop can only be 1" lower than the front.
I see that some are telling me the kit consists of a 2/3.5 drop. Maybe we mismeasured slightly, but I know there is not a 2" difference in ride hidth from the front to the back.
Thanks for the help guys. I will check these guys out.

I posted on www.silveradoss.com a little bit. A moderator there told me to stay away from McGaughy's lowering kits for the 05' & up Silverados.
He told me that in 05' GM switched to larger front discs and in turn had to use a diffenent style balljoint. He told me that McGaughy's lowering spindles interfere with the balljoint and requires modifications to the spindles.
He also said that their customer service sucks as well.
He said Belltech, but uses McGaughy's rear hangers.

Eibach makes a pro-truck kit comes with new coil springs for the front and shackles/leaf purches for the rear. The kit runs less than 400 and handles like a car.
