according to this attachment, looks like it is the rear port...does anyone know the size of the threads going into the mastercylinder?

Yes its the rear port for the front brakes. I do not remeber the size on the thread. i happen to have at the time a used brake line off a 2002 project truck and i took that in to the shop.

Is one method better than the other on an automatic vehicle, or does it make a difference? I'd like to install line locks in the future, and want to do it the best way possible. Thanks!!

my research tells me that the fittings are M12x1.25 I will get some and report back if that is right or not!

well, i am 95% sure that the fittings are 12mm x 1.25 bubble flare and the linelock needs 1/8" male pipe thread (it has female) and i have 2 ea -3 AN braided stainless lines that are 12" long, but i cannot find any adapters to get into the master cylinder and distribution block...if anyone knows where i can find these, please post up.
Thanks!
