Default SHould I try a trans brake in the 80e

Im switching ot an 80e, I will have a 14bolt fully built rear axle, and my 418 with up to 350hp shot of naawwwsss. Ill have some 30x14" slicks under the rear too. Im just wondering how well it would work in a heavy truck with no weight over the rear end. I would think it would work well on the street in 4hi with some drag radials on all four corners

I'd go for it Cody if you have threst of the drivetrain to hold it... make sure your diffs and driveshafts are up to the task of handling all that initial torque... that 14 bolt would be necessary for that kind of duty.

A friend of mine with a 427sbf in a Mustang droped .2 secs on his 60' .3 secs on his time and went from 103mph to 106mph in the 1/8th last night. These were back to back passes, first off the foot brake and the 2nd off the trans break.
