Installed DJM Uppers and Lowers
#1
I installed DJM Upper and lower a-arms on my 4wd. Previous set up was McGaughy spindles and lowering keys for about 5" of drop. It rode horrible!!
Now I have DJM arms, McGaughy spindles, and lowering keys. Probably close to 6" of drop. The keys are almost all the way up and it is still a little too low. It rubs on going over bumps. I am going to try to crank it up a little more (if I can find my stock keys) and see where it is rubbing.
Those of you that are slammed up front, what do you do to the inner fenders?
One issue I dont have any more is the turning radius issues and binding issues. It should align fine as there is plenty of adjustment in the uppers.
Here are a couple of pics, the truck is dirty.

That looks awesome !
So you no longer have turning radius issues ? , hmm that's good, mine turns like a bus , takes the whole parking lot and lots of reverse action since I installed my McG"s spindles . I love em but damn my crewcab turns tighter !

I had 285/35's before and they rode bad, so I went with 285/40's this time around. Kind of wish I would have stuck with 285/35's now.
Many other guys have done it, Black04 was the first I think, and he is kind of the reason I did it.
Thanks!!
Nope, no more turning issues, my reg cab did before. It was horrible! It also used to bind up close to full lock and felt like I was turning on gravel. That is gone too.
Asanti 22x10's all they way around with Toto Proxes ST2 285/40's.

for the front inner wheel well you can cut out the area that tapers down to the fender lip and install a patch panel higher up and level. If that is not enough you can cut them out completely and make some new wheel wells out of trailor fenders or wheel tubs.
