There was a thread about this awhile back, but IIRC it was about 5500 ft-lb (keep in mind, in low range 1st gear multiplies engine torque by LOTS so that 5500 number isn't quite a high as it sounds). I am running the 1/2 ton t-case in my truck and Parish ran it with no problems into the 700 rwhp range. There are plenty of other things that will break before your t-case will break (tranny, driveshaft, rear end, etc).

Thanks.
I'm thinking of a manual trans.
And it can be engaged (4x4) and disengaged (2x4)?

Thanks.
