TCI seems to be the only one that makes one for an 80e

i have pictures of the broken one and the new design....will post later.

the flexplate flexes to help protect the transmission pump and other hard parts.

the cracked flywheel looks different than the one that came with my 4l80e. Mine wasn't recessed like that. It came out of an 05. What year was yours?

my trans was an 05, flexplate an 06 from the parts dept IIRC

also.....you can see the rust on the broken plate. great indicator that its a cracked flexplate. easy to spot with the inspection cover off.

true billet...

FTW = strength
FTL = Price $$$

I paid almost $425 for this one... it is made out of 1 piece of billet, no welds.

i paid $59 out the door for my factory one.

the failure was not at the welds...it was at the stupid center hub.

the new design came with bolts that did not have the collars like the broken one.
