No. Those flex plates are a piece of crap. Its like taking one of those throw away aluminum pie pans and bolting it to the engine and expecting that to hold up. The new ones at least for the 6 liters that I've put on are slightly thicker and around the center hube it wasn't notched anymore, just a smooth circular hole the same size as the hub. FWIW the bolt setup is completely stupid. Its like putting a 3/8 inch bolt in a 1/2 inch hole. Those stupid little "bushings" don't do a bit of good.

Glad I used my 60e ATI flexplate. Hope thats what it is. The last tick I had that I thought was a flexplate turned out to be a bad cam lobe and lifter.

when exactly did GM do the update for the 80e flexplates?

is anyone running the TCI 80e flexplate?

check ls1tech transmission section, FTI has a new billet flexplate for $250, I believe it has the holes for a 4l60e or 4l80e but not positive on that

flexplate is broken. verified it today. will replace on saturday with another factory one. i want it to flex....a billet one will be too rigid IMO.

hopefully i can get the tune rescheduled soon....
