Default help!!! 4l60e swap

ok so my 2nd gear and 4th gear went out on my truck so i bought another 4l60e trans and the install went good the trans was dry and i added oil to the TC before i installed it. it clicked all three times so i know its in good and spins free. the problem i have is after filling the trans i started the truck and made sure the fluid was full and it is. but the problem i have now is it wont stick in gear. it will start to creep in drive but it will not fully engage. it almost seems like the TC is not full enough. what could the problem be??? i need help asap

Remove trans lines going to the radiator & see if it's pumping fluid! You did bolt up the converter right?

double check the fluid, after the initial start it needs another gallon or so

k so checked the oil pump today all is good. now my next question is could it be a dirty trans filter? or maybe the TC came forward after i installed it? but it still engages a little or is just a bad trans?

installing the converter from the" bad trans " is never a good idea, it's full of debris it's not easy to flush one

the cooler should also have been flushed, using an aerosol trans cooler frlush kit (I double flush two cans)same scenario cooler is full of debris from bad trans
