Default Flip kit for 6 lug 14 bolt and swapping disc brakes questions

This is for my 99 rcsb 4x4. Im going to throw a 14 bolt 6 lug under my rcsb for peace of mind. Ive blown up enough 10 bolts and i would rather spend the money on a 14 bolt. Im going to be running a 6" flip kit so im wondering what kit im going to have to order for this axle. I know its going to drop it differently since the axle tubes are bigger on the 14 bolt.

Also, im going to want to swap my disc brakes onto the 14 bolt and I cant seem to find a thread on it. I know ive seen it before. Any info on that would be great. Thanks guys

Guessing run a 92-2000 C2500 flip kit for a 7" drop and then a lift shackle for 6" total drop?

Which 14 bolt are you going with? If it an 05 and up unit, the disk brakes will bolt up and you can use the same flip kit for a 10 bolt.

How do you plan to attach the factory tahoe disc brakes to that rear end???

Most people make spacers or shims.

Is this the thread you were looking for??? It covers most all the specific info and has a link to other builds.

i know the axle tubes are bigger on the 14 bolt, so i would have to get one from a 88-98 2500 and use a lift shackle to get it at 6"...but might be slight change of plans for now, thinking of going up with it a little bit until i have everything in line for the 6.0 swap and such..I already have the lowered tahoe, so it would be nice to have something up in the air a bit for hunting and messing around
