Corvette Servo Install W ALOT of pics
#51
Did mine yesterday after procrastinating for a few months. I got it from CT Powertrain off ebay back in May. FYI it is not a 20-30 min. job if you have a GM 800 series 4X4. The transmission tunnel won't allow servo assembly to slide out. I elected to unbolt the transmission cross member on the passenger side, leaving one bolt in on the drivers side as a pivot and lowering about 2". This and bending over the tab of sheet metal that interferes with the R&R of the servo assembly. The cover snap ring was a PITA and required a third hand. The 1/2 shift now is more pronounced at part throttle and with my Predator I will adjust the line pressure to suit my needs. Thanks for all the info. Just wish I did this in May before I towed a PU trailer about 2000 miles. Anyway it will allow me to save my 2000 Silverado with only 67K miles to date, a little longer

I would add a quick tip for the servo cover. Instead of cutting the ring and fishing it out just hook it with a tool and pull straight down to stretch it out.
With it pulled tight you can pull the cover right off. Its faster for me than cutting and fishing.
