Default caltrac install problem

Has anyone ever had a problem with the bar being too long? After both front and rear brackets installed there is no way the bar will go between them. I have the heim joints threaded in as far as they will go and the nut on the rear heim joint is hitting the eye hole bracket under the axel. its a good 1/2 to 3/4" too long. Even if I found a way to squeeze them in there there will be zero room for adjustment. By the way this is on a 92 swb pickup with a flip kit. Yes the kit is for a flip kit. iv tried loading an unloading the suspension and the distance doesn't change.

What does the bracket look like for the flip kit? Can you post a pic?

Did these bars work before the flip kit? I'm not sure if the 92 needs a shorter bar or not. Have you contact Calvert Racing?

Mine was also hitting, would not allow it to adjust.. I just took and cut about a 1/4 inch off each end of the bar.. Fixed the issue.. The pass side fit perfect, didn't have to do anything to it..

Thanks mangled. I may have to do that. I haven't tried the passenger side yet. I would hate to have to cut them up though. And AKlowrider I did not have caltracs before I did the flip kit so I orders them knowing I was going to do the flip.

Any chance that the hole on the leaf spring bracket would be farther back if you 180-ed the bracket?
