If anyone has the backing plates, park brake cables and park brake parts, I will trade for my 06 front calipers and rotors.

From what I've read, if you use hydroboost supply lines from a 2005 express van you'll be golden. Hope this helps.
Dredging this thread up, can anyone validate this about the van lines? I am gathering parts at the moment and don't want to experience any issues.

I can't personally confirm that it will work, but I can make an educated guess. I assume that it is correct because the Express Van is probably one of the vehicles that came with hydroboost that was 2wd. Any vehicle that had hydroboost plus rack and pinion should work. I know, Captain obvious. LOL.

Thanks for the reply. That is my thought process as well. It would have to be the 1500 Express though, as im sure the 2500 does not have a rack and pinion. The only other thing I can think of that would be an issue is the hose/line length...

With a rack and pinion you just have to reshape the line.

IM ALSO looking into doing an 2005 2wd Silverado 14 upgrade to me 2001 2wd Silverado and maybe Cadillac or denali rear brakes on my rear. Now do I have to run the hydro boost with this or can I not do that and have abs still work? Help??1

You don't have to do the hydroboost conversion but that's where a lot of the upgrade in brake performance comes from. Adds a lot of clamping force over the standard vacuum assist

And no matter which way you do it you can still keep the abs

Only reason I ask because it seems like it's a pain in the *** to do the swap and I'm not 100 % sure
