As most of you know, Ive had a vibration problem with my truck around 55-60, it causes he passenger side seat back, along with the driverside and the center console to "shake". I had an axle flange on the driverside that had a good wobble to it, replaced the axle, still shook, the 20's i had on there, i had them balanced at 3 different shops, still shook, the last tire shop told me one was bent, DAMN, so i got some 09 chevy 17s with brand new tires, truck rides so much better compared to the 20's, but it still shakes, so that is 3 sets of wheels, a new axle, and no win. Heres the crazy thing, on some roads its worse than others, sometimes it barley shakes, but on other roads its annoying, I dont see where shocks coould come into play?? but maybe I'm wrong, jacked the truck up and checked the tie rod ends, but could not find any play, Anybody have an idea? My truck is lowered, 2 inch shackles, and no overload, i have *4 degree shims in the rear, (it does it with them, or without) new u joints, only sound i have is this damn driverside rear brake squeeking, because of the damn 15 tooth adjuster, (i need to upgrade to the 30) Im so close to being committed with a straighttjacket.

mine does this as well...it seems to do it more when the truck is cold...it has always seemed to do this even after i swapped transmissions (w/ new mount). i thought it was a warped axle shaft...replaced that and still shivers....beats me

Could the difference in the roads be that one is crowned and one is flat? Or is the difference smooth and bumpy? Or one is flat and one is slightly uphill?
Does the steering wheel shake?
How about the clutch in the torque converter?

i noticed when the truck is on the ground, i can grab the rear tire and begin to push and pull, and it seems like the axle is coming out just a little and going back in making a thunk sound, is this normal?

but it needed replaced anyway, truck shifts hard, lol, i need to upgrade the mounts, i know this rubber one isnt going to last,
