Unhappy Aftermarket Diff Cover won't fit !!!

My T/A cover wouldn't fit, I found this out when I had my Eaton and 4.10's installed. My stock panhard bar was too close to the diff and because the T/A cover was so thick, there was not enough room for it. Stuff you leaf spring guys don't have to worry about, fortunately.

So I'm either thinking a different diff cover, modifying the stock panhard, or an aftermarket panhard bar. Any ideas?

What rear and ratio did you have before? Did it blow up, or just want something beefier?

I had the stock G80 +3.73's, and upgraded to an Eaton LSD + 4.10's.

I just wanted to beef up the rear as much as I could. Good diff covers can prevent the diff housings from twisting...plus that T/A cover had screws that bolted up against the Eaton carrier, making it even stronger.

I may still be able to use it. I'm working with someone who said we might be able to modify the stock panhard bar, or get an aftermarket one. If that doesn't work out, I'll let you know.

Got mine from TA Performance directly. I've been very pleased with it...a few weeks ago, a guy behind me at a traffic light yelled out, "Hey, man...where'd you get that rear-end?" He got some REAL funny looks for that!

Got mine from TA directly also...I needed to get the metric bolts for it, there's actually a little note in the box that mentions it. I'm pretty sure that most of the newer trucks require those bolts.
