On the PDF it states that these brackets do not work with the Denali due to the factory air ride. On my 2004 Yukon there should not be anything different on the front -- the air shocks are only on the back but the front shocks do have an electric plug on the top.
So would it still be true that this product would not work with my Denali?
Also out of interest: What is the total suspension travel compared to stock? Is it the same?
This is a really good product that I would love to run on my truck.

I say that because one guy bought them and said they wouldnt fit, but he didnt specify what wouldnt fit and I couldnt get pictures out of him of the problem. I am not sure if there are different versions of air ride out there, but the way you described it I dont see a reason why they wouldnt work. If your yukon is the same as the normal tahoes it should work fine.
If you want send me a couple pictures of the LCA where the torsion bar goes in and of the lower shock mount and I can give you a better idea. If you decided to try them and they dont fit I will give you a full refund if thats cool with you. My email is rkwayne at gmail dot com.

Here are some initial pictures of the 2004 Yukon Denali Front Suspension. I will be on a business trip till Friday but after that time I can get you additional pictures or measurements. Anything you would need just let me know.
The only thing different about my set up is that I am using an aftermarket bump stop. This bump stop is cylinder shaped instead of tapered like the stock setup. It provides some overload ability and artificially raises the spring rate. As you can imagine it doesn't ride all that great but it stops the constant bounce from worn torsion bars without committing to a lot of work (tbar replacement).

Between the closest part of the shock tube and the bump stop there is about 1/4 of an inch. Between the top of the bump stop mounting plate (stock) there is about an inch of clearance. Not talking about the cup it is mounted in -- just the curved piece of metal at the top of the frame that the cup is welded to.

The LCA and shock area looks like every other truck setup ive seen. That bumpstop however would have to be redone to the kind like I use to give the spring enough clearance. The part of the frame where the bumpstop is mounted would also need to be trimmed with a sawzall, but thats normal on all of the installs. I attached a picture of what I mean.
So it looks like it would work to be if you cut off that corner and redo that bumpstop. Let me know if you want to try it!

I installed a set of these a few weeks ago and I must say the ride quality and handling ability is much better than it ever was with torsion bars!

Sorry if this has been covered before. What is the approx OD of the springs you recommend using? I am still working through tuning on my cam/heads swap but interested in doing this in the near future. Wanted to gain more insight about how much material I would need to cut.

Yea, 3.5-3.75" OD. If you look in the attached picture a few posts up I have a picture of what needs to be cut off, its just the corner of that little piece.

I know this is an older thread. With that being said I'm converting my 99 Sierra rcsb to 4x4 and want to retain rack and pinion and go coil over in the front so I don't have to mess with the torsion bars in the swap. Would this be possible?
