pretty sure my -2" rear Eibach springs came with some sort of spacers for the sensor for that set up.

I am guess there is no version of this set up that retains the stock electric shocks?

No that's what I mean. The 2" lowering springs from them had little spacers to correct the sensors and keep the air shocks. Not sure if you can go lower or not. Probably have to fabricate something. But that customizing, not everything is bolt-on or plug-n-play.

Default Suspension?

Hey Mikeyjam1,

Do have a build thread for your Avalanche? I bought Atomic's setup about a year ago but am just getting to the install, what setup did you go with shocks, springs etc..? Have you seen the air over coils? Universal air makes a few, they suggested the Aero power sport but I don't think there's 6+ inches of space in there for the bag diameter? The torsion bar suspension has to go though, I have 200k miles on it. I did swap to the Ford keys, upgraded to the bilstein 5100 shocks and replaced the rear springs about 5 years ago. That said I'm running a pretty big wheel tire combo 285-55-22 and am getting suspension noises so it's time to pull the trigger and do it right the first time. Thanks in advance!

There is roughly 4-4.5" diameter worth of room in there to the UCA, so you would need a bag smaller than 4.5" (which I havent found exist). The OD of 2.5" coils are roughly 3.5".

Can anyone point me in the direction of a welded upper bracket? I'd like to remove the OEM one and weld a taller one in its place to run a longer shock and softer spring. Ideally, I'd run a 850-900lb spring.

1100lb springs and 285/45/22 tires make for a stiff ride!

You could weld on my uppers if you like....if its too stiff, turn down the shock settings. What are they currently set at?
