Default 4l80e and gearing question

Looking to do a 4l80e swap in my 02 ecsb. It has a 5.3, tr224 cam, LTs, Tb stall, 4:56 gears and a 28" tall tire. I know that the first gear in the 80e is a little taller so the 4:56s should help that out a little, but whats the overdrive like in the 80e? It already tachs 3000rpm at 70, I really dont want to tach any higher than that. Also, what converter should I go with? I was thinking 3200-3600. It's mostly a toy and wont see a lot of DD so im not to worried about driveability, other than turning 3k on the highway. Im going to be adding a tru-trac to help with traction so while im in there i can change gears if need be. Firts gear is almost use less with only a one tire fire and 4:56s
Anyone know of shops in the DFW area that will do an 80e swap? Living in an apartment, going to school, and working full time I dont have the time or the place to tackle it myself.
Thanks for any help
P.S. I did search but didnt find what I wanted.

I believe the 80E has a .75 overdrive. Plug it in: Engine RPM Calculator

Haha yeah I know that. I'm going to lift it up a little to fit a taller an wider tire under the rear. I can live with the 4:56s if they are going to perform well with the rest of the setup. But if I can run a higher gear and perform almost the same, then I'll do that.

What size tire do you plan on running after you lift it?

Is this truck slammed to the ground or something? Leave the 4.56's and go with a 30" tire. N/A setups love the gear.

If I remember right the swap will make your od rpm go up about 250 or so.

I'd like to get a 30" tire under it, but don't want to lift it up to much.

Yeah it's sitting about 4/8, maybe lower. The rear tires are tucked up under the bed. Which is way lower than I want to be because it won't even go over a speed bump  if I can fit a 30" tire I'll leave the 4:56 gears for sure. What do you think about the stall with such low gears?

If you're looking for a quick 1/4 mile ET, than the looser the better. I'm thinking a 9.5" 36-4000 rpm stall would work well for a 224 cam 5.3. The low gears will actually make a looser converter more streetable.

For example, my 10.5" 3400 converter feels much tighter driving around on 31's than it does on 37's.

Yeah I want it to be quick in the quarter, but it's going to see a lot more street than the drag strip. Thanks for clearing that up. I was thinking because the gears were so low I would want a lower stall converter, but I'm a newb.

Still looking for shops in dfw that will do an 80e swap. If anyone knows of one let me know.
