Default 4L80 swap keep PWM or delete PWM now that is the question???

Well i am going to be swapping my 80 in next week and I am wondering if you guys are deleting the PWM with the tune (setting min/max to both 100%) or deleting it via wiring harness.

Default Pwm

I haven't done the swap yet, but I was told "For performance I would delete PWM. Pulse width modulation makes the converter lockup softer but puts more wear on the clutches.". So I would delete PWM.

Depends on which converter you are getting. I recommend leaving it enable for our multi disk. Give you a little softer lock up at light throttle. With the on/off style the lock can be a little abrupt on a multi. If you are going single, then I would delete the PWM.

I have your single disc. So i will follow your recommendation and disable it. Also when i built the trans i used the stiff TCC spring you supplied with the converter, with that spring installed do you still recommend disabling the PWM?
