Didnt see anything wrong with it.... Seal was toast on 3-4 accumulator piston so it was leaking past it, all valves and bores in valve body are free and smooth with no side to side movement, cleaned it all up and got it back together tonight, then my dumb *** realized as i was finishing it up i forgot to grab pan last night so i could clean it up while i was hanging out , errr..... I meaning working, at the part time job today, then i started cleaning everything up to get it outta my buddy's way and realized i forgot the washer on back of the pump what i get for rushing and getting ahead of myself, put pump in to check end play etc and meant to take it out put seal in it and washer and forgot the damn washer!!! Sad part was i looked at it when i assembled the pump and was thinking i need to put it on, even pictured myself doing it..... Oooopppsss!!!

Well as far as i know at this point everything turned out ok for the rebuild i did other than the owner not leaving any fuel in it for them to test drive....turns out its a buddy of a buddy of the manager at the sister store to my now part time job that owns the trailblazer the trans went into.... And apparently they did all of it including reimbursing me for parts and labor through the shop...... If i had known this prior to i wouldve charged more...

Default Noticed something odd......

Little while back i swapped the converter in my truck, to a dacco tb I6 vjcx converter!! I have noticed that though the shifts feel quite a bit better, just feels really quick (as in too soon)!!! So the other night i was driving it and the quick shift was irritating me, so i decided to see what would happen if i shifted it manually, pulled it down into first and at about 3200 or so it felt like the trans shifted, but the shifter was still in first..... I was running out of road and was already way over speed limit so i backed out of it and put it in drive, could this be tuning issue, as in having to adjust shift points, or could it be sonething severely screwed upwith this piece of mad dog i have in there at monent??? Other thing i was thinking that maybe its sonething with the lockup, buti dont see why the converter would lock up that hard in first!!! Any ideas??? I know i need to find a longer stretch of road to openit up on, but......

That's an inherent action on the PCM, there's no way to tune around that which I am aware of. It's likely in a table HPtuners/efi live never unlocked. It's very annoying, but just how it is.
