Its just odd that i never noticed this issue til i changed the converter from the ridiculously tight 1800 stall that was in it, to this new tb stall...... My 1-2 feels like its now at about 2800-3000 at best.... I need to get my figured out and get my new converter so i can get my trans in the truck, but for now, i kinda wanna figure this little bug out... Could the converter be going into lock up in 1st??

I would suggest having the tune looked at. It could be a MPH Vs. RPM or the way another table is set.

The TBSS is smaller and has a lighter rotating mass as well...

Which in theory should increase line pressure, stall, and make shifts feel better, right?? Having a brainfart( been long couple of weeks) should i have reset TAPS when i replaced the converter??

Its worth a shot.

I physically had to go in and adjust shift points when I swapped mine to make it more driveable. The way it locks up and shifts through gears was different and more noticeable with the TBSS style convertor.

Actually feels alot better aside from the "quick" shift it has now.... Truck will get out of its own way off the line at least and if its raining i actually have to ease into it otherwise she starts spinning, and ive had a couple of times i started leaving a light sideways, unintentionally!!

Got a call day or two ago the trans i built for that trailblazer lost all line pressure less than 500 miles after it being installed, waiting to find out if they misinstalled the converter or if they put the wrong one in going to go look into it here in a few..... my boy said he can tell the pump rotor is trashed!!! Knew i should have gone by there to install the converter and make sure the height and clearances were right, guess this is what i get for trusting someone else to not screw something up......
