About 3 days.....

 

Oh.... ha! I was mixed up. I thought it was in that garage for a long time.

 

It was from december of 2013, til i think october of 2014, drove her to richmond in june 2015 to get tuned, had mail order tune done shortly after i had her towed from my boys place to work....october 2014, she is still coming together, but at least i can drive her now, and i am back to driving her and when i do have to do sonething its typucally tear her down do what i gotta do and drive her home.....

 

I probably oughtta start a thread just to put all the pics and info in one place, at least my phone would tell me dates on pics iirc, but alot of the pics i have from the conversions and upgrades ive done are redundant and not as detailed as i would have liked.... Conversion from manual split bench to heated power memory leather buckets with a 07up lt center seat for example i dont have pics of harness being run and everything just pics basically before during and after...

 

Live and learn I guess.

Sounds painful Just to be cut open let alone the recovery.

Health is no Joke though. I went to the Doctor Thursday. Apparently when they called to give me the results of my blood test early this year, they failed to tell me I should come back in... So now I have to take cholesterol medication...

 

Wish my dr had started me on cholesterol meds couple years back.....

Yeah recovery sucks especially when day i got out of hospital i reached behine my couch to get something and popped my wires at top of my sternum, along with about 3 ribs back into place..... That hurt worse than pain in my sternum!!!

 

So, got another trans build going on at moment bit of sidework to help me get caught up from my old full time job (which is now my part time job) being slow and feeding the screw up..... Anyway, this is out of an 05 trailblazer, guy said its drives fine until you get on it, then it slips like a champ... No upgrades unless it needs it he just wants a stock rebuild, so not goin to get too far into it just wanted to share a few pics of what i found.....

Thought input drum was galled turns out it was just caked on burnt fluid and friction material, cleaned right up....

Rest was pretty uneventful, nothing even close to what my original core wa just a lot of nasty *** burnt brown fluid..... I should have it just about done tomorrow, remembered the reverse input drum out of my second core doesnt even look like the band got applied to it, so i will use that one to get this one gone, dude kinda in a rush for it!!!!

Damn! Guessing it was never serviced and rode hard and put away wet.

 

Looks that way..... He just wanted a stock rebuild with no upgrades so he can sell it i think.....
