I was jokingly insinuating you sounded bitchy.

 

Rebuilt the compressor and got a new much larger capacity compressor, but he needs to run lines for the big one.... He has to rebuild his compressor every 6-12 months so he is used to it, its in the corner of his garage so its constantly sucking in sanding dust and paint fumes etc as its running, his new one will be outside of his garage ina compressor "room" he is building

 

Wasnt tryin to kind of a thing with me and 1Fastbrick, we go back and forth like that alot... Breaks the monotony of being on the expressionless interweb!!! Part of reason we have a thread dedicated to our tangents we get on...

 

Well i had to switch gears a bit and probably need to start another thread, but was going nuts without a damn tailgate and i have a couple days off, so at least i will have my tailgate back by sunday or monday... Started prepping the tailgate for its final coat of paint tonight.... This also gives me a chance to accomplish something ive been needing to do to the truck, and take my mind off cam, torque converter, job change etc etc etc....



Yes the paint on the tailgate isbthat bad at moment..... Lost track of how long i had my paint when we tried to fix what looked like a scratch under the clearcoat and....... Well it was old and peeled everything off!!! Anyway i am going with 07up style emblems.... IMO they look a lot better than the ones that cane on the truck...

Sanded down and touched up the primer.... Wetsand tomorrow and reshoot......

You!!! I realized my tailgate has been at my buddys house for coming on two years now!!!

 

Considering this is where my bed was when i got out of the hospital..... That is an 8 foot ladder!!!

 

 

Funny as hell now..... Not so much when i had a 30lb weight restriction and had to get it down by myself, woth two block and tackle setups!!!! Hurt a bit!!!
