3 inch shackles?

Default 3 inch shackles?

do these exist? from what my friend has told me, his 04 regency rst has 3 inch shackles in the rear and 1 inch coils in the front and it sits perfect. where the hell do i find 3 inch shackles?!?!?

They don't exist, unless you alter the angle of the shackle position on its hanger(which I definitely wouldn't recommend). He is misinformed. There isn't enough room underneath the bed to run a 3" shackle. I would say at most you could fit a 2.25" shackle, but no one makes such a thing that I know of except blitzkreig.

what he said ^ if you wanna drop it three inches in the rear just get some three inch leaf springs IMO

lol well i guess i need stock shackles then, cuz i dont know wut i did with mine and i have belltech 2 inchers on now

i have eibach shackles on my truck, there is another hole to make it lower, but im not sure how much, maybe another 1/2"

Or you could do hangers for another 2", and move the rear leaf spring bolts down to the second hole in the shackles to go from 2" drop to 1" drop, for a total of 3"

The problem isn't so much that you can't build a shackle 1" taller, but an inch taller shackle won't equal a 1" lower truck. You're lowering one mounting point of the leaf spring and not the center of the leaf spring so in essence you'd need about a 2" taller shackle to drop the truck a full 1".
