Default 2/2 drop?

We've all seen trucks with 2/4 drops but has anyone seen a truck with a 2/2 drop? How does it look? Right now my truck only has 2" shackles for the rear and I think my truck would look perfect if the front came down 2" also. I really want to lower my truck but I don't want to lose any truck capability or ride quality after the drop. I figured a 2/2 drop would be a good choice for me. I want to keep my stock aluminum 16" wheels so I assume coils would be the best for me. What do you think? Does anyone have pictures of a 2/2 truck?

It will have the same rake as stock but onlt 2" lower. Get a 2/4! You will be much more happy and you wont lose any truck ability.

It'll still have a little bit of a rake with a 2/4 as well. If you want the rake though you could get a 2/3; I've seen it done and it looks pretty good.

Go ahead with the 2/4. Buy the complete kit and give your shackles to someone local that also post on this board. hint hint

with a 2/2 drop, like you said you already have the shackles.
you could get some hotchkis 2" drop coils for the front.
that's what i'm running along with beltech 4" drop shackles and hangers in the rear.
(stock shocks all around too)

they make 4" drop shackles? how do those even fit without hitting the bed? do they mess with your pinion angle and such a lot?

He has a total of 4" with the shackles and hangers. They each are a 2" drop.

Exclamation

I would like a 2/3 drop as well. But I do not want to remove my hangers or shackles.
I'm hoping the Belltech leafs will do what I need!

Jim
Belltech said the 3" lowering leafs will not work with my truck due to it being a VHO and having different spring rates and a lower spring from the beginning.
They will also not work on the SS series trucks.
This SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim
