Default 08 silverado transmission options

hello, i am buying a 2008 5.3l 4wd crew cab silverado and i was on chevrolets website today and noticed they have a super-duty transmission upgrade available. i was wondering what exactly this upgrade is as it doesnt tell in the description. i was hoping it was a 4l80e upgrade but i doubt that is the case. i just would like to know if the upgrade will be worth the money, thanks.

I doubt its a 4L80 because not even the 2500 and 3500 have 4L80's anymore.. Have all been replaced with 6L80 and 6L90's... Probably just a 4L70 with a cooler....

Well the 4l70e the only difference is the input speed sensor, I have noted that this does not mean 5 pinion planets, I prefer the 65e
