whats holding ur heads down?

stock in the fairmont, heads have never been off. hundreds of runs in the 500-600rwhp range(13-14psi).
i wouldn't change them just for the sake of changing them. if the heads are off any you need now bolts anyways then i would go with the studs.

well i have to pull them off to change lifters. i also think my passenger side head gasket is gone. block on that side is wet and the reservoir is about empty. its been getting lower and lower over the past 2 months. i'm going with the 3 layer gm gaskets. i was wanting to run the 5 layer set up but i think the 4.1" bore might be a bit big.

I put studs in my LS1 motor. I pushed water with my stock 4.8 at 14psi with a really rich E85 mix and too much (23*) timing.
