Default whats holding ur heads down?

who's useing arp studs who's using arp bolts and who'd got the stock torque to yeild guys hanging out?

will stock gm bolts hold 15psi with a tc78??

arp L19's here, over-torqued 15 ft/lbs

I would go with atleast arp bolts..

stock in the fairmont, heads have never been off. hundreds of runs in the 500-600rwhp range(13-14psi).

i wouldn't change them just for the sake of changing them. if the heads are off any you need now bolts anyways then i would go with the studs.

well i have to pull them off to change lifters. i also think my passenger side head gasket is gone. block on that side is wet and the reservoir is about empty. its been getting lower and lower over the past 2 months. i'm going with the 3 layer gm gaskets. i was wanting to run the 5 layer set up but i think the 4.1" bore might be a bit big.

I put studs in my LS1 motor. I pushed water with my stock 4.8 at 14psi with a really rich E85 mix and too much (23*) timing.

why are you changing lifters? hard to beat the stock ones.
