Whos kit?

Off hand I would say 50mm. Better to have too much gate than too little.

I'm new to this so i'm not sure I got the lingo down so bear with me

its a 73mm turbo the hot side has .96 a/r on it, I'm sure its a off brand turbo there is no name or model stamped into it I dont know any thing more about it

its a home grown kit that came with my truck when i bought it, its a rear mount setup (yeah I know) i want to get it installed and see what it does i'm really just hoping to make 500 to 600rwhp

Get a 50mm gate. The turbo smart pro gate 50 is nice.

whatever you do dont do a 35mm, its more likely to have boost creep at lower boost levels,

larger turbos will i guess you say over power the wastegate, as in the wastegate cant let enough out to keep the turbo on a steady low boost level.

if you planned on doing boost that was higher and closer to the peak of efficiency range then id say a smaller gate would be ok
