Default Vortech Vs. Powerdyne

my brother is looking 2 get some hp outta his 5.3L and is looking @ either a powerdyne or vortech supercharger set-up. the price difference is $500 in the powerdyne's favor. but i told him that the vortech is a much better quality supercharger system, @ least from what all i have read and the $500 more will be well worth it.

BUT- the vortech kit comes with bigger injectors and no tune, while the powerdyne comes with bigger fuel pump, and fmu. what do you guys recommend he do. he needs get a tune whether he likes it or not so vortech or powerdyne?

I'm not being BIAS but what about a Procharger. I would highly recommend a Procharger D-1sc and 3 core Intercooler and that would be one bad ride.

if he is not in to supercharging it does not matter what kit you pick up, it just will not be right. for less money he can have more fun ( that he is use too ) with a 100 shot of nos and a set of 373 gears.
