Default Duramax Intercooler tuning

Just wanted to branch off of that other thread, it was getting pretty long. I changed the trany fluid today with some Mobile1 Synthetic and got the IAT sensor wired up. I assume i wired it correctly because i got no trouble codes and the truck ran good. Took the tan and solid black on the MAF harness and soldered it to the new sensor, orange and black respectively. Its an open air sensor so hopefully it will be pretty accurate. If it was wired incorrecty or was not compatible with my truck, would it throw any codes?
here is the sensor....

Tomorrow afternoon i am heading over to the Dyno to get tuned and see how she does. I will post IAT numbers and if we actually put it on the Dyno and not just hook up the W/B and run it down the road, i will post up those numbers as well. It brought my peak boost down to about 6.5psi, but it think i will leave it there for now and see how the numbers look. I was maxing my injectors out at 8psi (109% @ 8psi). I may get a smaller pulley and some 60lb injectors this fall. This thing loves gas.

108% before the intercooler? If so, I'll bet it's just as high with the I/C at 6.5 psi. Any bets?

If he hit 108% before the intercooler at 8psi then 6.5 with the intercooler will be just as high. Of course shift points have alot to do with it also, just wondering but what does that 8.1 shift at? I had mine shifting at 5900 but I have it shifting at 5600 right now, might take it up a tad but for now I am leaving it at 5600. The extra timing is allowing me to not have to rev it out as far and it still pulls the next gear much better.

1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 all shift around 4700 at WOT and there is no way (unless i want to spend a few grand for a stand alone allison programmer) that i can change the shift points of the Allison yet, no one seems to have the coding down for it yet....at least no one i have heard of anyway. The 8.1L redlines around 4900 too. Guess we will see tomorrow, i just hate to pull off all that crap to get into my fuel rails. Then i still have to change the injector harnesses and modify the fuel rails to put the 60lb'ers in. That would almost surely involve upgrading the fuel pump....geez, does it ever end? LOL
