Hi, how have ya been ? Yes sir , lots has happened, heheh. Got new cam and refreshed rest of engine made 2 runs and kaboom. My fault, had a wire on fuel solenoid come loose.
Hows your pickup coming ? Bet ur way down in the single digits. Did you get it hooking. Was still one of my problems also. We are going to do a complete tube frame this year, lowering pickup another 3 1/2 inches and lengthening ladder bars bout a foot. Should get my weight down some more. At the end of year start new engine. Then getting rest of Pro Charger stuff. So it will be next april or may before I'm ready.
I did run a 10.28 @ 133. Mph should have been 9.90"s. Oh well, we just keep at it , huh. Good hearing from you. If you still have my number , keep in touch.

 

wow yep i say thats alot going on for ya!

sold the truck as a roller to Roy & Flaco Performance, flaco has it running very strong mid 9's i got my 10 sec pass and called it quits went 10.00s on a 150 hit, i loved the truck but never wanted it to become an all out race truck and thats what it ended up becoming. i bought a 2001 TA full suspension with motor dropping my 408 in it and be happy to drive it on the streets with AC she'll be a quick 10.5 car on motor . i do have my 09 RCSB that has a 6.2 sitting on the stand with some good parts in it, probably turbo this one on yeah TA will get a F1 procharger should be really nice

 

That's cool David. a TA. My good friend and sponsor just traded his 72 Nova ( ran 8.80's ) BBC w/nos. He traded for a 2000 TA plus a stack of cash. Its got a 6.2 and a few goodies. He ran 11.30 @ 121 on a 75 shot. It's got a stock bottom end. Said he would probably go 150 on the nos. It should do ok with that.
Sounds like you've got some great plans for the TA and 09 pu. I sure will follow your progress. Still like to meet all you Texas guys at Dallas some day. Maybe next year after I get this project complete. OH MAN , did I say COMPLETE........... HAHAHAHA

 

guy i bought it from had a 402 mentioned he went 11.3s in it, i figure with my stall and 408 i just might kiss some 10 sec action. then ill spray the hell out of it since im fixing to refresh the motor which will be for a procharger
