When you guys install turbo kits, how do you guys take it to get it tuned? There is a local dyno shop in my area but, once I install the kit say.. a Trick front mount, I have no way of getting it there aside from driving it. Can it be driven easy about 20mi. to the shop?

 

Ya, as long as you don't change the injectors until you get it tuned, and keep it out of boost (drive easy) You can drive it as far as you want to the tuner. It will drive just like it did before.

 

be very careful on the drive. but yeah. No boost so no load or you will make it. Maybe leave the BOV off and put a filter on there so no boost can be made.

Did you ever take pics of your install?

 

The truck may shut down on you as well, it doesn't take much air over the tables to put it into limp mode.

I'm not to keen on tuning so bare with me but, how can I get tune from you guys? Mail order style?
