Well guys I finished up my 6.0L swap this weekend and so far it feels really good. My setup consists of
03 Lq4
Z06 cam
42lb injectors
MPT70 STS with .82 housing

First impressions. My 42lb injectors are at 82% at 6psi with no meth. 2wd is useless at full throttle until 2nd gear still at only 6psi. 4wd barked all four tires with a 6psi launch. By the butt o meter 6psi on the 6.0L feels like 9 on the 5.3L. As far as the MPT70 and .82 housing, I hit full boost by 2600 rpms. I am going to redo my pcv setup tomorrow night and start turning up the boost. I will be putting in a second 625cc meth nozzel as well to see if I can get to 11psi on the 42lb injectors.

 

congrats!!! those dyno numbers in my sig were with the mpt70 and .96 a/r on 10 psi thru a flt65e

 

What cam were you running with that setup? I would like to hit the 550rwhp mark and see how well Perfomabuilt builds there level 3 transmission. I only have two or three weeks left on my trans warrenty so I want to get it to the track soon.

 

how high does the motor spin before it quits pulling?

 

I haven't tried it enough yet to know. According to my log 1st gear shifted at 6250 and it felt like it was still pulling hard but I need to do a second gear pull to really feel it.

 

I just looked at my log and the TR2600 stalled to 3k brake stalling before I launched. No wonder it felt better out of the hole. Got to love more torque out off the line.

Pictures won't be that impressive. Other than pipes and hoses everywhere and some weird looking thing hanging underneath of the truck it looks completely stock.LOL

 

sounds awesome... just please don't rely on the meth like that for too long... one hiccup in the meth system and you are having a really bad day forged motor or not.
