I have a fair amount of knowledge of vehichles, but of course you can never learn enough! The Trick Front Mount kit looks like an extremely well engineered kit and it was well thought out! Although I don't have enough money right now to purchase one, once I have the money I will definately buy one from Trick! I would greatly appreciate any other input, advice, or tips you gentleman can offer! It will be greatly appreciated! Thanks again everyone!!!
Thanks for the kind words we spent a lot of time laying that system out, and did scrap many different layouts from the start of the program. Don't forget we give a 1 year warranty against cracks.
If you can get any freinds to buy when you do we may be able to work out a deal.
cheers.

It is mostly hilly. There are some spots where I live that are relatively flat, but for the most part it is hilly. I have no intention of towing a trailer even though I do have a trailer hitch. I ordered the truck with the trailering hitch package because it adds the transmission cooler and it is nice to have the hitch just in case. I do like the Trick Front Mount system more after weighting all the options and what would fit me best. My truck has of course the 2006 Z-code 5.3L w/ 4L60E, but my 5.3L is the E85 and I'm wondering if the Trick system will be compatible with my engine and if I would still be able to run E85. I would love to purchase a Trick Front Mount right now, but I don't have the funds to do so at this moment, but I plan to in the near future. Any other tips guys?? Thanks again everyone!!!

E85 you will need to make sure your upgraded injectors will be able to compatible. The kit itself will not be effected by the fuel you use.
So with good injector for the fuel you are going to run, and good tune your good to go. In fact the E85 will aid in the cooling of the air flow in the intake.

Give Nelsons a shout about your injector selection and let them know you are planning on running E85.

So in theory I could get more power out of the kit when I run E85 since it will help with the cooling of the intake charge and since it is a higher octane than regular 93 octane?

In theory yes. But keep in mind more power is also just as easy as upping the boost.
You will only achieve higher power (with nothing else changed but fuel) if you were at the limits or over limits of the fuel you were using.
What I mean is if 93 has you covered no knock the gains switching to e85 will be limited.
The fuels higher octance and cooling effects will have the most benefit, if you are already taxing the gasoline, showing some knock.
Also E85 will allow you to run higher boost levels safely, that is where the extra power will be coming from.
Hope this helps.

I plan on towing with mine and Im not too worried about it. If anything Its the Tranny I'll worry about with having a 3k stall.
