Default turbine A/R size?

I am running a rear mount t-04e turbo with a .96 a/r. is that too big for my setup? would something smaller help out alot spool wise
or would I sacrifice my top end if I went with a .68 for example?

I would run a .68 on your setup as well as wrapping ALL the exhaust piping with header wrap. That alone will help spool a lot.

I wrapped everything already and it still doesn't hit full boost til after 3500 rpm. Do you think a .68 turbine housing would choke my engine at higher rpms?

The .68 housing might choke it up a little on top but it will spool a lot quicker. I would think you would pick up 300-500 rpms on spool time. I think I have lost about 200-300 rpms on spool time each time I went to a bigger housing.

3500 is good for full boost. My truck doesn't hit 14psi until 5100 if I don't brake stall it.LOL

Yeah, 3500 seems very good for full boost! Even synergy's twin turbo kit wasn't hitting full boost until 3200 rpm.

KB do you know where I can get one of these housings for a decent price in billings? I'm getting on the dyno at 10am tomarrow and it would be cool to see which one makes better power.

I don't think you are going to find a housing that quick and easy but I would put money on the bigger housing making more power. On your setup it shouldn't be a big difference so you could use the smaller housing for quicker spool up and lose maybe 20rwhp up top.
