Tuner can't get a reading on MAF sensor. I did not cut wires just moved it over and plugged it back in. Any thoughts on what could be wrong?

Something many are no realizing here..On a gmt900 truck you need a 3 bar map to read boost...its not to run boost as tuning for boost is based off maf tube size

Next 550 isnt event close to linits of a stock motor

My old 5.3 with a cam made 575 on 9 psi on pure 93, not all turbos produce same amount of airflow so psi means nothing really

Next not all builds will equal same power, my 6.2 on 7 psi is right at 600 rwhp with a 75mm

When using hpt3.0 you need to properly setup the config files to log a maf

Will not having a 3 bar map installed affect maf reading at all? Also 2 bar will not work?

Only valve springs, 72/75mm Turbonetics BB, 4x4 ran in 2wd on dyno of course through the 4L80E, 94 octane pump (we don't have 93 in Canada just 91 or 94) and with meth with the cutout open it's all part of the kit.

I find it weird you would need a different Map sensor.

No to maf, if maf has its 3 wires then tell him to set up scanner right

Buy the zr1 3bar map...the guys talking in here about 2 bar are referring to a gmt800 trucks. The map you need is like 30 bucks from.

You only need the map to log boost in scanner...stock map quits at 120kpa which is around 3 psi

not sure I understand this my MAF has 5 wires. The tuner is done he does not have time to track down this problem so its up to me. with his HP tuner connected and the truck running he gets zero. with my diablo I 2 connected still getting zero. the computer recognizes that it is there because when the sensor is unplugged is it says failed. plug it back in and its not failed. what could I have done to cause this? checked all the wires for breaks all looks good.

Your maf has 3 wires the IAT has 2 wires

You have 3 wires
Ground
5v
Signal

Start probing to see what ya dont have

What have you done? Did you need to extend the maf wiring?
