Got the exhaust hooked up today. High flow cat going through the stock muffler. Talk about a quiet truck. I think it is quieter than stock. Still didn't have a real chance to get on it. Maybe tomorrow.

Well, yesterday I was plowing through 2-3' high snowbank and just thought if the wastegate lines were hanging down they would definitely be ripped off. Move them pointing up soon.

I would also suggest running a free flowing exhaust rather than stock cat and muffler. That restriction can really hurt power output. I've seen a 250rwhp gain by just opening up the downpipe from a stock exhaust on a Turbo truck. My exhaust consists of just a Corsa catback. It's pretty loud but not obnoxious.

I will get them changed around next week probably. I just wanted to get the truck back on the road at this point. I didn't know which muffler I was going to use so I just had the high flow cat put in.

Holy crap man!!! And specs or details on how you were able to pull that off? There's a tune and other smaller stuff included in that power gain right? Such as H/C/I + NOS?

We installed a trick turbo on a 2007 Tahoe, stock exhaust and stock muffler.
It made decent power through the stock setup, actually more than most trucks we've done turbos on.
Numbers were:
382hp/468 at 6-7psi.
Top speed going down highway was 142mph! I think aerodynamics played a huge part.

Information is useless without a vid
Was that on a 5.3L? Good numbers, similar to mine at that same boost except that torque is alot higher!
