Default Trick install in progress...

Here are some pictures of what a perfectly good 2006 truck looks like in the middle of a trick front mount install. I am at a sticking point with the intercooler mounting and charge pipe routing.

I am really just posting these so others in the future who are doing an install can see a couple more pictures. I have found that there are NOT nearly enough or easy enough to find pictures on here.

Bed off to do the Walbro fuel pump, didn't have the brass connector for the fuel line connection to the fuel regulator. Stock pump is back in there till I get the connector.

Can never have enough jack stands....

My installation helper.

Where intercooler will be going.

Turbo manifold really looks good in there.

Already tried to get ahold of Slowhawk, no answer.

Just trying to figure out where to mount the intercooler and get all the charge pipes to fit correctly.

So much for a 6-10 hr install...haha Started on Friday afternoon and have been working with friends ever since trying to get my daily driver back on the road....what is wrong with people like me...

My 6-10 hours time line is turbo kit only. NOT IC fuel pump etc.
It is always great to have a helper in the shop with you. They sure fit easier under the trucks then I do. LOL
Check out this link for where Nelsons mounts there IC.

Ours is simular but we went with the 2.5" tubing over the 3" and did a little bit different routeing.

I really like the black thermal coating you chose. WE might use that on our new LOW front mount set ups.

Nice

She was a huge help...kept taking the light away and playing with it. But was really funny having her under the truck with me.

The black coating came out very nice.

The IC pics are a little different because there is no MAF on it, and you can't see where it actually mounts to anything to hold the IC. Mine has two ears that are off the sides right in the middle of each side. I just don't see where they are going to mount on the front of my truck.
