Cool Traction - Slicks/Radials

Guys need some help=
I will be running 16/18lbs of boost maybe 20lbs ( Tuner said I will be in safe zone still(>25))
What should I look for as far as size in track tires? 30,29,28"

What numbers do you also think I will dip into?

If I remove leveling kit will it make any difference at all?

Will my Nitto 420 even hook ;/ 2wd

Current mods - 2wd

-Precision Turbo 76mm
- 2 walbro 450 w/ 90# Inj - e85
- 4.30 Gears / 2 Peace DS
- Built 4L80 / 3600 stall

So coming from the diesel world, a LOT of guys run 420s on their trucks and are pretty happy with them as a street/strip combo. I'd be a bit worried about your driveshaft. I don't get to go to the strip very often, but less rotational Mass is usually better. Find some stockers to run on the front and maybe like a 28" tall tire?

Thats what I was thinking just didn’t know to brake boost a little bit. I had found some drag radials 295/65/15 but it’s a 29.5

Mas far as driveshaft I have a metal 2 piece drive shaft. Upgraded as messing up my aluminum stock shaft

drum brakes idk if they fit
