Default wtb slicks or drag radials

just out of curiosity.....anyone have some slicks or dr's on some cheap rims that are sitting in their garage collecting dust? I'm not 100% on even buying them, but every time I come to this forum I wish I would read "slicks + rims f/s" or "drag radials on cheap rims f/s "

Last time at the strip was embarrasing on the 20's and Goodyears. Stall did nothing but probably hurt me considering 0 traction. Out of desperation I even burned the crap out of them trying to get them to heat up, which did help the launch a little........but cleaning off all that burnt rubber the next day told me never to go to the track again w/o drag tires.

Or my next question would be.......does anyone in the houston area have some that I could possibly rent for the day I go to the track within the next few months?

If I went with drag radials, I'd want as much sidewall as possible, and I'm not sure what width, but something that would fit on a 16" wheel would be good - considering 16" wheels are probably cheaper compared to 17+

still WTB in case anyone wants to sell. If drag radials, something a little bigger diameter than 26" would be preferred
