old truck intake /vs tbss intake

Has anyone with a turbo went from the old gen 3 to tbss gen4 . if so what gains did you see ? just curios

I made the swap on my Nova using the same 3 bolt TB with an adapter. Definite seat of the pants difference IMO.

I just got done swapping my gen 3 intake for the gen 4. Big difference is you're able to go from a 75/78mm throttle body to a 92mm which I did. First test drive the truck definitely felt faster and I needed less throttle to get the truck moving. Once boost kicked in it just accelerated even faster than before.
