It was just the Treadstone corvette intercooler. Flipped upside down it fits trucks nicely. On my previous twin kit which is now on Spoolin's truck (temporarily ) I ran an ETS built IC. IIRC it was like $850 shipped and was a quality piece. Hard to beat the value of those Treadstone units for how well they do though.

I like your product from a bolt in perspective, but I would have preferred disclosure of who makes your core if I'm to be spending 1k. I haven't seen anyone else recommending vertical cores either, unless space limitations dictated so.
Interesting... I'll look at my bell core when I get home. I don't remember it looking so "thin"

Its a balance of pressure loss vs heat dissipation ability, they are competing characteristics. Vertical cores are great from a pressure drop perspective, but not that great at dissipating heat.

short runner or long runner.

This next statement is if tube design is equal.
"Long runner can remove more overall heat at the cost of psi drop across the core.
Short runners can flow more have less pressure drop but you loose heat absorption."

Highest cooling drop will happen in the first 9" of the core.
After that it still drops temps just not as fast.

Lots of eBay cores are long runners with NO fins inside the tubes.
those cores show little psi drop but Mickey Mouse temp drop.
The flip side. Too many fins great cooling and bunch of psi drop across the core.

It's a balance act.
Tube length, type of tube,
How many tubes
fin type and fin count per inch.

It all comes into play if the core works in your application or doesn't.
