Having the intercooler directly in the air path as opposed to below the radiator makes a huge difference as well.

Well you need to slow down then so IATS have more time to rise.

treadstone is the best bang for the buck. garret or bell might be slightly better but way more expensive. i have a custom made intercooler with a bell core and if i had to do it again id go with treadstone

Problem for me is complete lack of space up front for an IC, so I'm stuck mounting down between the frame rails. Thoughts?
Why is packaging an issue?

We offer a 12x23x3 = 69" of flow area
Fits with none to minimal modding.

That's almost twice the area of standard cores in these trucks.

Post from DBRODS:

"Here is a pic of a Bell core vs a Garrett core. The Bell core cant even keep up with a Garrett of equal size. IMO nothing compares to a Garrett core."

I like your product from a bolt in perspective, but I would have preferred disclosure of who makes your core if I'm to be spending 1k. I haven't seen anyone else recommending vertical cores either, unless space limitations dictated so.

Neither does the mix. I've run E43 well over 1000whp and not a hint of knock.
