one of the mods over at ls1tech told me that the truck manis will fit turned forward, down and clear everything if you run the corvette engine accesories. Any truth to this. If so that would be sweet when you swap over to a ls6 intake.

I've read it about 10 times. It did'nt have the info I wanted. Even PMed the guy and he didn't know cause he only deals with F-bods. I'm wanting to do this in a truck. The vette acc won't work in the fbod cause of limited space. I'm just wondering if they will fit in the truck due to the unlimited space.

like i said before. point the manifolds forward and UP. they work just fine. the driver's side is a little close to the alternator bracket, but if its a problem for you, use an f-body, or GTO, or CTSV manifold on that side.

hate to resurect the old thread but got a new problem. Never went turbo with the truck. I got a 03 LQ9 to go in my 68 camaro. I really don't want to point the mani's up. Don't like the way they look. Is there any manifold that will make it around the truck power steering? Lot's of room up front in the car to run pipe. If not could i swap over to the car accesories and still use the truck intake? That way the mani's would work.

If you run car acc and no AC then you could build a truck manifold setup like the Fbody guys do. https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...t-up-faqs.html
