Porting behind T'body on TVS2300

Anybody done it on a front inlet/front drive Maggie TVS2300? Thinking I might add a bigger t'body. Would need to match the t'body to the blower inlet. Grinding for sure. Is that front piece easily removable? Only four bolts, but the 'charger drive passes right through the middle of that piece. And I'm guessing I'll have at least an oily mess even if that piece comes off easily.
Also considered stuffing rags in the inlet, doing my grinding, vacuuming out the aluminum dust....that just seems like a receipe for trouble.
Looked on line for a parts break down, but found nothing. Help appreciated.

LC32 is testing a redesigned front inlet for the 2300 so I would presume it is easily removed/replaced and that porting of the stock piece could yield some gains. I have never seen one personally so I couldn't say for sure though.

They are testing one on a Front Inlet Rear Drive, we are speaking of a Front Inlet Front drive in this case.

Take the front inlet off. You will have to remove a lot of material to match up to a 102 throttle body. In my case the NW102 and inlet porting was worth about 1.5 lbs of additional boost. Let me know if the link to the photobucket pictures doesn't work

Question....How do you get the blower snout off? Just the four bolts removed or is it more to it than that? Lose any oil?

Couldn't break loose to do the work myself, but if I remember there are only the four bolts on the cover, and either bolts/pins where the rotor shaft separates.
I think the stock throttle body (87mm) and inlet are a restriction at low to moderate boost as evidenced by my going from about 8.5 up to 10+ pounds of boost from this modification only.
Oil residue in the photos was from me not having a catch can installed at the time.

I have talked with Ray (supersub) and Joe@leftcoast about the 102TB. So far both of them are liking what they see. My question is what does everyone plan to do for a intake and filter setup? IMO unless your intake tube and filter diameter are as big if not larger you are wasting your time on a 102mm TB.
