I agree with you about needing a larger tube and would have done that first if my factory throttle body hadn't died. The problem for me has been finding a new style MAF housing to fit 4" tubing. Trick makes a 3.5" that could be used with some extra welding/grinding and Nelson has a 4" but it's out of stock.

I'm still using the maggie supplied tube and picked up 1.5lbs so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

I thought speed density on the e38 ECU was problematic on daily drivers.

 

Oh this is on your 09, hmm didn't know that. I am not sure. I know I've been running 2barsd for about 6 yrs but I have a different PCM. Do you do your own tuning? If so what software?

 

Nobody has had the front end of one of the blowers off?

 

PM blownchevy, I am also interested since I have not pulled my inlet. I have had the lower tub off and such but never pulled the inlet.
