Default Pics of turbo oil return to timing cover

I ordered a kit from Trick Turbo for my 2001 Siliverado with an LQ4 and I'm trying to figure out how I want to run the oil return. Any one run it to the timing cover? any pics? parts? I plan to use the stock balancer, Any help would be great. Thanks.

Pics of the drains I installed when I either built a motor or swapped covers. Futureproofing my builds. Both covers are 1/2NPT and currently plugged. Drilled as low and as right as possible in the cover

1st pics with Corvette spacing, 2nd pics with truck spacing

What would be the benefit of the cover v/s the pan?

Easier to get to and modify, no chips in the engine when you mod it, always above the oil fill, easier to route your line to it. Etc

it's a huge pain IMHO. I have two drains into the timing cover. But it does work.

Just understand that fitting is exactly over oil pump mounting bolt. If fitting stick out from inside cover it will be over bolt head which WILL stop oil from enter pan... just keep fitting flush On inside of cover. I had to cut off 3/8” from fitting plus I grinded insid eof fitting like funnel for better oil flow ... that 10an 1/2 npt 45*

I went to the front of the pan with it off the truck just below the timing cover. I also have an OD crank pulley so no way was a fitting going to fit on the timing cover.
