I just thought of another problem here. If the clean side is pulling pre turbo and its a blow through MAF, that means when the engine is not under boost and the catch can is venting back into the vacuum port on the intake manifold it will be pulling unmetered air into the engine, which is basically a vacuum leak correct?
I don't see how a closed pcv system would work with the clean side pulling pre MAF unless i go Speed density. I would really like to keep the pcv and not vent to atmosphere. Any other ideas?

You are over thinking this.
Years of kits and no issues.
The amount of unmetered air is so small it want matter.

Haha alright. Keep it simply i guess. So most people just run a check valve between the driver side valve cover and intake manifold, and then install a breather filter on the passenger side valve cover? Will i benefit from running a dual exit catch can with one hose leading to the intake manifold with a check valve and the other one running just before the turbo compressor? That way when its under boost and the one check valves closes, its still pulling vacuum just before the turbo? Or am i still making things to complicated? I just worry that if i run a single exit catch can to the intake manifold, that when it makes boost and the check valve closes that it will have no place to vent besides the breather filter on the passenger side valve cover and it will put oil mist all in the engine bay.

Running a hose to beside the air filter or in front it will not pull a vacuum.
Even if inside the air filter it should not pull a vacuum. If there is any noticable vacuum inside the air filter then the air filter is to small.

What happen is the gases get pulled through the turbo and over time would. Collect inside your intercooler.
I just use a carb style fuel filter (passenger side)
and hang it behind the water pump. That way it's filtered air plus any oil mist will be collected there.

Besides if you have that much blow by while in boost engine needs a little looking. Most only boost 13 seconds or less at a time.

Run the passenger valvecover to a vented catch can.

Judging by your picture i am guessing you have a nbs and not a nnbs. I am not sure if the PCV is the same on those trucks, and i wouldn't want to give you the wrong info. I am sure someone else will chime in.

2010 boosted truck here

valley cover, the two valve covers are tied together and routed to a catch/breather can

nothing goes back to the motor

simple and works, you dont want to pressurize the engine case, and you dont want to suck oil into the chamber

Second that^^ could you get some pics and parts list for us to check out George?

I'm looking for good ideas to setup my vent setup on my '10 as well besides just running a breather off each valve cover and a longer hose from the valley cover to intake manifold where drive side originally connected since I won't be able to have it yied into the intake tube anymore like I have planned at the moment
