How about switching sides, like how the 4.6 mustangs are. I don't think it will be a big problem, you was able to adapt it so far. I can be some help, if needed.

Switching sides won't help any more than turning the car around and looking at it from the back will.

 

I think he is taking about putting the compressor on the front side of the belt. That will make it turn in the right direction. That is the way the compressor was designed to be mounted for proper rotation direction. Is there enough room? IDK?

 

Of course that's what he meant.

sell it and get you something else that works.
your tring to fit a square peg in to a round hole.
the only way it will work is to flip it and build extra support to brace the unit.
then your on a hunt to find the right belt to make it all work.
